HAMILTON-

A three story home on Hollywood Drive in Hamilton Township was heavily damaged when fire broke out in the attic Monday afternoon at approximately 12:45 p.m. A family of nine, including seven children were left homeless after the blaze when the township's building inspector declared the structure uninhabitable.

Five Hamilton Township fire companies and an EMS unit responded .Firefighters spent about two hours fighting the fire and overhauling the scene. The cause of fire had not been determined at the time of this writing.

The immediate needs of the of displaced family, food shelter, and clothing were supplied by the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
