Members of the Princeton Fire Dept. work to disconect the battery on a van that was flpped onto it's roof after it was involved in a crash at the intersection of Broadmead and Faculty Rds. in Princeton Twp.

PRINCETON TOWNSHIP -- Two Princeton University workers and the driver of a car escaped serious injury in a crash that flipped a truck on Broadmead Street Thursday morning, police reported.

Police Chief Mark Emann said a woman drove her car through the intersection of Broadmead at Faculty Road at 35 miles per hour without stopping. Her car clipped the rear of a small utility truck driven by the two university workers, police reported.

The truck spun from the impact and rolled over on its roof.

Police said the two workers were mostly just shaken up, but one reported some shoulder pain and the other reported back pain. They were taken to The University Medical Center at Princeton.

The car was heavily damaged from the crash, with its air bags deploying. The driver did not have serious injuries, according to police, who did not release the names of the three people involved.
